Thinking of literally completely deleting my Facebook account. Can anyone think of a good reason why I shouldn’t? Seriously?

Nope. I don’t know why I have one. Though it could be a very useful tool, it’s a relational crutch for most of our generation.

I concur. I’ve been on a hiatus from facebook for a couple weeks after realizing how useless it really is. just a place to promote passive aggressiveness or read completely useless information about people you barely know. also have realized there are a lot of people who just lurk…never post, update, or say a peep…they just read/look/spy and that’s kind of creepy.

I will say it is kind of fun to see what kind of losers old friends have turned into though. ;)

The only valid reason I have found for keeping FB is that it gives me a glimpse into the lives of many people in my sphere of ministry. I learn things that are happening in their lives that I would never know otherwise. That is the ONLY reason I’m still on FB…but it’s a pretty solid reason.
