North Point Community Church announced an exciting new venture that will go live on August 16, 2009. They are following in the footsteps of some other churches and offering live services online.
Check it out at northpointonline.tv, and keep them in your prayers as they venture into this new territory.

Mike posted my “Meet Our Staff” post over at his blog, so I figured I’d link over to it in case there’s something there you didn’t know about me.

This Sunday, July 12, our church will learn the details of an exciting leadership move in our church as we introduce our new Creative and Communications Minister, me!
In this position, I will be responsible for managing all visual communications at ACC. As many of you know, I developed and maintain the ACC website and create many other graphics you see each week. In my new capacity, I’ll also oversee all print publications, signage and other media.
This is currently an unpaid ministry position. I will still be employed full time by an engineering firm. But I am, nonetheless, now an official member of the ACC staff.
As a result of this exciting change, I have also resigned as a deacon at ACC.
This Sunday during both services, I will be sharing my vision for this ministry.

Yesterday officially marked day 1 of P90X for me.
One word: PAIN.
Ab Ripper 100 and 200 from Power 90 have NOTHING on Ab Ripper X. 349 movements, each of which come close to killing you.
All I can say is that Tony Horton is an animal, and if I can keep up with the workouts and, more importantly, the nutrition, I probably will be too in 90 days.
Speaking of the food…dang. 2400 calories is a lot more than the 1600 I’m used to from Power 90. It’s hard to even finish it all.
I made it down to 162 lbs and about 18.5% body fat by the end of Power 90 (down from 184 lb at my heaviest and almost 25% body fat). Those results even impressed me. If that’s any indication of how this 90 days will go, I think I’ll be even more surprised. I can’t wait to see how this goes!

Five years later, and beta is officially no longer cool.
If you really miss it, then you can turn it back on in the Labs section of Gmail. :)

Saturday, July 4, is day 90 for me. Can’t believe it’s almost over. The changes have been stellar.
I hope I’m able to push the intensity even higher when I start P90X on Monday. It’s going to be challenging, that’s for sure.
Didn’t really have anything to say other than that. Hope everyone has a great July 4 weekend. See you on the flip side.
Also, check out Firefox 3.5 which was released earlier this week. Best version yet. I’m back on Firefox now (from Chrome) for a while at least.
