Week 5  Stats for Josh is a Big Loser

  • Starting Weight: 176.0 lb
  • Today’s Weight: 169.0 lb
  • Weekly Loss: 2.5 lb
  • Total Loss: 7.0 lb
  • Total % Loss: 3.98%

Not too shabby.  I was actually down to 167.0 lb a few days ago, but I think the weekend kind of hurt me (again).  It’s amazing how hard it is to actually eat right when you’re so busy.  No one makes it easy at restaurants, that’s for sure.

I have now completed my fourth full week of Power 90…except that I disappointed myself this weekend when I officially missed my first day of workout time.  We were working on a big project at the house all weekend, and I had zero time left over to workout on Saturday or Sunday.  I was pretty aggrevated at myself.

Tomorrow is Day 30, so I have my first real comparison measurements and pictures for Power 90.  I’m excited to compare more numbers than just the pounds to see how I’ve progressed.

I’m impressed. 7lbs in 5 weeks is nothing to scoff at! I’ve seen enough results that I’m beginning to thing maybe I should try Power 90 myself! [not that I need to loose the weight, but just to tone up a little]

    Keep it up!

I’ve actually lost more fat than just 7 pounds too because I know I’ve gained muscle during the past weeks. I can tell just by looking in the mirror. I’ll post my inches lost, etc. tomorrow when I measure them at Day 30 so you can see what I mean (probably won’t post the pictures though!).

It’s been pretty dramatic so far, and I’m only 1/3 of the way through this. If I keep it up at this rate, I ought to be able to significantly drop my body fat percentage and tone up.

I’m also using the BeachBody supplements now too (instead of just some protein stuff from GNC). I’ve only used them for about 4 or 5 days, and I’m already starting to notice their effects (quicker recovery, etc.).

Honestly though, you could probably see some pretty remarkable results from P90X instead of this if you’re looking to tone up a bit more. But it’s a lot more hardcore than this program (hence the “X” for “extreme”).

I’m anxious to see what my results look like at days 60 and 90. But so far, I’m extremely happy with how things have progressed – and that I’ve been able to faithfully stick with it this far. Just the fact that I’ve been able to be so disciplined about it has amazed me.

Way to go man! Keep on keepin’ on. This just might inspire me to get into shape.

Aron, it’s funny you say that because one of the things that gave me a little extra push to get in better shape (besides my doctor) was seeing your pictures from your honeymoon in Cancun. I was like, dang, Aron was in much better shape there than I have ever been…what’s my problem? So inspire yourself, man! :)

Good job!! 1/3 of the way there and you are seeing great results. Are you also doing the dieting?

Yes, I’m following the meal plan pretty much exactly, as well as taking the supplements.
